Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father is an Argentinan of Scottish and English heritage is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. She was the first born of a household that included six children. Four of them are siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria part of London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was a struggle and she did not learn English, hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after switching from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in school productions. After she turned 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to pursue a full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. She was given a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her a job as a model.
