Kari Samantha is an American artist, actress and vocalist (born on the 28th of April, 1967). Wuhrer began her career as a teenager and is best recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and also as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, an officer in the police force and a automobile salesman. There are three siblings. She was a teenage singer who performed in clubs, sneaking away from the family in order to do so. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School from 13 years old she was a drama student at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Additionally, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the famed Uta Hagen. Born on April 28, 1967, in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her mother is a payroll accountant and her father, German-American, is a police officer and car salesman. Kari's three siblings are all of them. In her teens her nightclub performances were a highlight in secret, escaping to take a break. Kari at the time was 13 years old studied at the Wooster School as well as the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She also attended drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with a drama teacher who was known for her work as Uta. Kari began acting when she was as a teenager, and her first TV break coming from 1987's MTV Remote Control.
