Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's most outstanding athletes. As the only U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the sole gymnast who won four gold medals in a single Games at the 2016 Olympics. She is the only person to have three consecutive world championships. Biles grew up in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her younger sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare instructor Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor and bronze in vault during the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite level of gymnastics in the year 2011. Two years later, she dominated the sport. Biles was notable for her consistent performance, exuberant character, as well as the difficulty she encountered in all four events: vault, uneven bars, and balance beam.
